Fine arts, photojournalism and ADHD
Monkey Mango Studio is a random name that came from the river of neverending ideas that flows witin my brain. ADHD is like that. I have always been a doodler, always been a bit restless and always going from one thing to the next. It is difficult to stay focused on one thing. Illustration goes where my mind takes me. Journalism is random events with no clear known outcome. Discovering where my creativity takes me is the fun of Monkey Mango Studio. I hope you enjoy.

Why now?
The most frustrating thing about studying Fine Art is messing up. Hours of work were ruined. The only pieces I genuinely liked were controlled, repeated patterns that I would doodle with pen and paper while supporting computer networks. I started using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and QuarkXPress in the nineties and was smitten. I am a sci-fi fan and it seemed like magic. Despite Photoshop taking a half hour to render an experimental filter, I loved the outcome. Then I became a Journalist and Fine Art took a back seat until I started distorting creative images for a while. But they sat after a few years in gallery shows. Then came Adobe Fresco and my Ipad. My whole world just opened up and with a simple undo button to keep from losing my mind, I can create, and create, and create, with no foreseeable limits.
