fun stuff
I love geometric shapes and finding a logical balance and weight in my designs. Somehow, the colors and objects end up in the "correct' places resulting in a picture that I can revisit, share and enjoy.
I'm not sure how I decided to add the dogs to the illustration but in the end it seemed to fit. The image brings me back to Saturday morning cartoons in the seventies and the vivd colors and fun on the TV.
Repetition plays a role in my work. I think I find a sense of peacefulness in the process and often marvel that a logical completion point is reached and I stop adding to a picture. Although in this one, like city development, I think it represents always finding another place to fit another apartment or office.
